Katy was lucky to have you. I'm sorry for your loss and the many losses she's experienced. I appreciate that you recognize the loss of her birth mom as well. I'm a birth mom and most people have no awareness of the loss we live with. As an "acting mom" your loss needs to be recognized as well.
